THE SUNDAY SIX: The Plinth Moment, a Podcast and the Earrings I Can’t Take Off

01. What I’ve been listening to The Ladies That Launch episode with Georgie Coleridge Cole was so good! If you are building something or working for yourself Rochelle Hume’s podcast is the one and this episode was really inspiring. Add it to your list this weekend. It’s the kind of conversation that stays with you.
02. The plinth moment is real Zara Home Long Side Table, £129.99. Dark brown, prism shape, rough matte texture. Style it with an oversized rustic pot and some wild stems and it looks like you spent three times the price. Plinths have been having a moment and this is the best high street version I have found.
03. The pendant light that stopped my scroll The Aldwin Pendant at £795 is the kind of lighting purchase you make once and never question. Hand-ruched cotton, soft domed silhouette, adjustable black chain. Pared back and classic without being plain. The sort of light that makes everything underneath it look better.
04. The bathroom upgrade Anthropologie Alia Bath Cabinet Mirror, £398. Scalloped wood frame that opens as a cabinet. If you didn’t recess your bathroom cabinet during the build or you’re renting and can’t, this is the answer.
05. Save the date! 10th June at Blue Almonds with Caro, the founder of Maison Juli, talking about how to style a nursery. Me and Ginny in conversation, a beautiful space, and Caro’s artwork on display. More details coming very soon but follow Maison Juli on instagram and put the date in your diary.
06. The earrings I’ve been wearing on repeat £45. Gold, ridged, retro-inspired and lightweight enough to forget you’re wearing them. Whenever I wear these I get compliments every single time. Waterproof stainless with 14k coating.
